what is the best kind of humidifier and vaporizer? price? and why?

My family has been having a bad flu and allergy season and we need to have the air vaporized and humidified.

I got a great one for $50 at Home Depot–it’s a warm (steam) humidifier that has a medicine cup to use it as a vaporizer–now I can finally sleep at night!! It covers a large sized room….
